We really loved our stay. No words can describe the magnificent of the villa and the history behind it. All staff are nice and welcoming. You can enjoy the beauty of Tuscany and visit Florance. I recommend it.

Waanzinnige locatie, echt een sprookje. Fijn zwembad omringd door groen. De tuinen zijn goed onderhouden. Er is een bar met goede, lekkere en betaalbare drankjes. Helaas gaat deze wel pas om 17:30 open. Een drankje om 15:00 als je bij het zwembad ligt is lekker. Het appartement is schoon en prima. De keuken mag echter wel wat uitgebreider: geen scherp mes, geen peper/zout/suiker/olijfolie. Ik zag een eerdere recensie die dit ook beschreef maar er is nog geen verbetering. Er lagen nog twee vuile borden in de kast van de vorige vakantiegangers. In de omgeving goede restaurant in verschillende prijsklassen. Het kasteel is zeker een aanrader om heen te gaan!

Un séjour parfait dans un cadre idyllique. Le logement était de qualité, la réception également ainsi que le restaurant.

Everything was great the view the location the only thing I wold prefer was to have a coffee machine for the morning. The rest was great .

Unbelievably beautiful!

The castle is beautiful with stunning grounds and the room was clean and spacious. There are vineyards all around the castle - make sure you book a wine tasting at Frescobaldi! Having a pool was a lovely addition - we stayed in September and there was enough lounger space and the weather was great. Things to bear in mind: The nearest town which has a supermarket is an 8 minute drive away so make sure you have a car! There aren’t really any amenities provided, but that was made clear to us before we arrived. As we were staying for a short time, it meant we had to bin lots of unfinished food and drink. Overall we were happy with our stay in this beautiful place. Thank you for having us!

A spectacular setting to enjoy the Tuscan surrounds. The pool was lovely and the building is extraordinary. Perfect.

We had an absolut amazing stay in the Castello Montegufoni! It was even more beautiful than on the pictures, an impressive old Castel but renovated and very clean. The staff was also super friendly and helpful! We will definitely come back! :)

4.5 stars. There is room for some general improvements - suggested ongoing clean up and refreshing of grounds. We were in the tower top floor and was not advised there were fans available - having them in the room upon arrival would have been perfect.

had a wonderful stay here as a solo traveller, the grounds and pool were just stunning, as was the castello! Nothing was too much trouble and everyone was so friendly. The restaurant was delicious, I ate there most nights and would highly recommend. It’s the most wonderful place to switch off and relax.

Amazing place! Beautiful Castello, You need a vehicle although a direct bus is coming from Florence. Restaurant has local organic food. Definitely to recommend :)

A beautiful place to stay. Incredible views and impressive building. You will need a car to make sure you can make the most of being in the beautiful Tuscan countryside!

Stunning ancient and historical villa! Beautiful grounds and pool, the apartments are modern and facilities up to date. Our terrace had an amazing view!!

wonderful estate with a magnificent view, everything was perfect and we enjoyed our stay very much. pretty litte italian town (Montespertoli) very near (about 5 minutes by car). gives you the chance to feel like a nobelman visiting his/her summer palace for once in your life (just in case you have no castel of your own ;-)

A location with style in an old mansion or castle. Very impressive and the apartment was spacious enough with everything as it should be. Only drawback was the checking in at only 5 pm and when we arrived half an hour early we still had to wait (other places were a little more flexible).
