We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful place! It’s in a perfect location — central enough to explore almost anywhere in Tuscany. The owners are so kind and easy to talk to, and the countryside view from the patio is simply breathtaking. We couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended!

The first thing that hits you on arrival is the view, it is everything we expected from our Tuscan retreat. The apartment is spacious, functional and clean. There is plenty of storage and more than enough room for 2 people. As this is a studio apartment there is no washing machine or oven, only 2 hobs, but we knew this before we arrived and it worked for us. The terrace area is amazing with views to die for. There is plenty of room with ample seating and a discreet washing line to dry off towels etc.
The swimming pool and grounds are excellent, kept so well maintained and clean. The swimming pool is lovely and so peaceful. As there are only 3 apartments there is always plenty of room, there are 3 sets of sunbeds with umbrellas and tables and chairs. Each apartment has its own gated entrance and allocated parking space, so if you have a car it's no problem.

The accommodation is a short walk from the entrance of beautiful San Gimignano and the local supermarket. However, it is quite a steep hill and maybe something to keep in mind if you have limited mobility.

We would ABSOLUTLY recommend this accommodation. The welcome, view and facilities are excellent. Don't miss this opportunity to experience a perfect Tuscan break.
Lastly but probably the most important thing is the family who welcome you with open arms and are there to assist with anything you need. Massive thanks to Franco and his lovely family.

We had a very lovely relaxing time at Ovile, the place was clean and comfortable with easy access to the town of San Gimignano. Perfect location to explore Tuscany. We stayed for 11 nights and it was great to just stay in one place. The owners were there if needed but we had the privacy and peace we were looking for.

It had been 14 years since we last visited Poggiluglio and stayed at La Capana. Why did we leave it so long!!! We had the most wonderful holiday, everything was perfect.

Excellent location near San Giminiano. Walking distance to shops, stores and restaurants. Appartement had everything we needed for our stay. Views from the terrasses are absolutely beautiful. The pool and private parking were appreciated. Our hosts were wonderful. We definitely recommend this property!

What a lovely place. Massive accommodation, 5 minutes walk from the town centre, with attentive owners and a glorious pool and outdoor space to enjoy.

We stayed for one week at the La Capanna apartment in San Gimignano and it was wonderful. The setting is perfect, just a 10 minute (or less) outside the old city walls, but in vineyard territory so you feel as if you are in the countryside. There is a pool which is shared by the other apartments on the site, but was virtually deserted most of the time we were there, so we had it almost to ourselves. And the family which runs the site are very friendly and helpful. I can well recommend staying there.

Very nice hosts and a beautiful facility just a five minute walk from San Gimignano. Our cottage was a bit away from the main building, but that's what we liked. Surrounded by olive trees and vines, we could relax well and had our peace. The pool area was also very well maintained and large.
The cottage itself was equipped with the most necessary. The guests are responsible for their own meals. But nearby there is a shopping center and of course numerous restaurants in San Gimignano itself.

Wir haben dort Ende März drei schöne Tage verbracht und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Sie haben einen herrlichen Pool, der Ende März natürlich noch nicht offen war, da es zu kalt war. Das Agriturismo liegt nur 5 Minuten außerhalb des Stadtzentrums San Gimignano, also nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt, wo es einige großartige Restaurants und Geschäfte gibt. Die Aussicht von den Terrassen der Wohnungen in die eigenen Weinberge und Olivenhaine ist wunderschön. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

An absolute gem in the heart of Tuscany. Situated just a short walk outside the historic city of San Gimignano, you find this amazing former wineyard.
Very well-kept with a beautiful panoramic view over the hills. A small (not luxorious) apartment but cosy and with what you need, close to a very nice poolarea.
A need to go place!

Tolle Wohnung auf einem schönen Grundstück. Sehr nette Gastgeber, sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Es hat sich ein fast freundschaftliches Verhältnis entwickelt. Die Lage ist super, ländlich mit schönem Ausblick und dennoch in 5 Minuten zu Fuss in San Gimignao. Firence, Siena, Volterra. etc mit dem Auto sehr gut erreichbar.
Die Ausstattung der Küche etwas kompletter sein ....... keine Kaffemaschine vorhanden (nur Espresso) und geringe Anzahl Besteck, Gläser, Tassen ..... was aber bei allem Guten verkraftbar ist.
Wir kommen gerne wieder!!

What a fabulous time we had. From the ease and value of booking with posarelivillas to meeting the lovely owners Franco and Gea who made us feel very welcome. Our son and his girlfriend also travelled down in a camper van and were made to feel like part of the family.
The setting is spectacular being so close to San Gimignano but also so peaceful. The grounds are a joy to walk around and the pool area is like a 5* hotel.
The accommodation is traditional but very clean and comfortable with every amenity you need.
I would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone wanting a tradition Tuscan environment with the best hosts we have ever encounter.

Schöner kann man in San Gimignano nicht wohnen... inmitten von Olivenhainen und Weinbergen genossen wir die Gastfreundschaft unserer sehr netten, freundlichen Vermieter im eigenen kleinen Häuschen auf einem wunderschönen gepflegten Anwesen.. Idylle pur! In nur 5min.Fußweg waren wir mittendrin im "mittelalterlichen Manhattan".

Unser Ferienhäuschen „il cottage“ war auf dem Grundstück schön und störungsfrei gelegen!
Der Pool war Mitte Oktober noch aktiv, aber das Wasser war dann doch etwas frisch! :-)
Ich kann im cottage nur sehr weiter empfehlen - alles was wir gebraucht haben war da, die Entfernung zur Stadt war 5 Minuten zu Fuß und trotzdem war man inmitten von Olivenbäumen und Weinbergen! Genial!

The property itself is beautiful especially the surrounding area, lovely for walks. The apartment was clean and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were extremely helpful. Great location just a 5 minute walk from the shops and the old town of san gimignano.

Wunderschönes, ruhiges Anwesen mit großem Pool, 5 Minuten von der Altstadt San Gimignanos entfernt. Die Ausstattung der Ferienwohnung ist tadellos, die Besitzer sind sehr sympatisch. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

The position of the property with easy access to San Gimignano and the pool area. A lovely quiet setting. The hosts were very friendly and would do anything to help. Beds were hard.

Excellent hosts, happy to involve us with gardens etc. but never intrusive. Wine and olive oil available from estate gardens, excellent!

Meget god beliggenhet og flotte uteareal med nydelig basseng. Som negativt kan sies at kjøkkenet var dårlig utstyrt og dusjdører fungerte ikke.

Paradise only 3 hours from Birmingham - SERIOUSLY look at this heavenly place.
We have been lucky enough to work and holiday in most places around the world. Finding this heavenly place capped ANYWHERE we have been. Yes, there have been great places to see in those places over the years, but this place encapsulates total relaxation, hospitality at its very best and quality that is unmeasurable. The hosts and the dogs were wonderful and so was the wine ????

The location is fabulous and the grounds beautiful. The studio apartment is large and has a private patio area in front of the doors with tables and chairs and BBq area opposite. It also has a super king bed. The pool area is very clean and enough seating so that you can avoid other guests if you wish. It was an easy 10 minute walk up a gradual tarmac hill to the town centre. The owners are lovely and very interesting and interested. The only issue we had was that the WiFi wasn't good at all in the apartment, which posed a problem as we are self employed and needed to be online. The bathroom/shower could also do with a makeover ....as did some of the kitchen appliances. Overall, if you're looking for a fab location in beautiful, private, secure and peaceful surroundings, but not too fussed about the in door facilities, we'd recommend.

We had a great time. Loved the villa and the owners. My only small complaint is that the bed was typically Italian and a little too hard for us. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed it and will go back!
